Composites that drop into your existing line

Soarce nanofiber and nanocellulose materials arrive as pellets, sheets, or pre-formed blanks. Compatible with injection molding, compression molding, and filament winding — no retooling required.

How It Works

01

Material Selection

Choose from our catalog of nanofiber (NF-series) or nanocellulose (NC-series) compounds. Each grade specifies fiber diameter, matrix resin, and filler loading by weight percentage.

02

Format & Delivery

We compound and ship as injection-grade pellets (3mm nominal), compression-ready sheets (0.5mm to 4mm thickness), or custom pre-forms matched to your mold geometry.

03

Process Integration

NF-series pellets process at standard barrel temperatures for PA6/PP matrices. Mold pressures, cycle times, and cooling profiles stay within your current parameters.

04

Testing & Certification

Every production lot ships with a Certificate of Analysis covering tensile modulus, elongation at break, flexural strength, impact resistance, and thermal decomposition onset temperature.

Platform Capabilities

Electrospun Nanofiber Mats

Our electrospinning lines produce continuous nanofiber mats with controlled fiber diameters from 50nm to 800nm. These mats serve as reinforcement layers in polymer matrices, replacing chopped glass fiber at significantly lower weight.

Typical applications include interior automotive panels, drone airframes, and protective equipment shells where every gram matters.

Cellulose Nanocrystal Blends

Our CNC blends use cellulose nanocrystals extracted from sustainably sourced wood pulp through acid hydrolysis. The resulting crystals measure 5-20nm in diameter and 100-300nm in length, providing high aspect ratios for mechanical reinforcement.

CNC blends are available pre-compounded with polypropylene, polyamide 6, and polyethylene terephthalate matrices. Custom resin pairings available for orders above 500 kg.

Custom Compounding

Our twin-screw extrusion line handles filler loadings from 2 wt% to 30 wt%. We adjust screw profile, throughput, and temperature zones to maximize fiber dispersion and minimize fiber breakage during compounding.

Turnaround for custom formulations: 3 weeks from PO to first sample lot. Full production runs ship within 6 weeks.

In-House Characterization Lab

Tensile testing (ASTM D638), flexural testing (ASTM D790), Izod impact (ASTM D256), and TGA/DSC thermal analysis — all performed in our Atlanta facility on every production batch.

SEM imaging available for fiber morphology verification. Results delivered within 48 hours of batch completion.

Supply Chain Flexibility

Pellets ship in 25 kg bags or 500 kg bulk boxes. Sheets ship flat-packed on pallets. We maintain rolling inventory of our five most popular grades for 2-week delivery anywhere in the continental US.

International shipping via freight forwarder partnerships with DDP terms available for EU and East Asia destinations.

Sustainability Profile

Nanocellulose feedstock is renewable and biodegradable before compounding. Our NF-series uses solvent recovery systems that recapture 95% of process solvents. Post-industrial scrap from our compounding lines is reground and reprocessed.

We publish annual lifecycle assessment summaries for each product family on request.

Performance Benchmarks

Measured on NF-400 (nanofiber-reinforced PA6, 15 wt% loading) against unreinforced PA6 and 30 wt% glass-fiber PA6.

2.8 GPa Tensile Modulus (NF-400)
85 MPa Tensile Strength
310 °C Onset Decomp. Temp
1.18 g/cm³ Density (vs 1.35 GF-PA6)
